LuxRender 是一种基于物理的没有偏见的渲染引擎。基于先进的技术水平算法，LuxRender 根据物理方程模拟光线流，因此产生逼真的图像，照片的品质。LuxRende是免费软件，可以个人或商业使用，以GPL许可，这个程序可运行在 Windows, Mac OS and Linux上，功能齐全的输出可供Blender / Maya / 3dsMax / Cinema4D / XSI ，然而输出为越来越多的3D程序正在开发中。同时LuxRender也是一款开源的软件。
